Time for the Fins to use "The Pistol"

I'm sure I have but I cannot recall any of them being as dumb as this one.

Sooooo anyone here think we are going to take a second year QB and have him learn a new offensive scheme? I would have to guess no. So honestly i don't see it heading to South Florida.
Instability and constant change has worked against us in the recent past. Let's just stick to what he knows and let him grow within the offensive philosophy in which he has some experience. It has been mentioned that our front office folks want a college QB with 30 starts so they have in-game experience. Tannehill had 19 college starts at QB and now has 16 more starts at QB. That's 35 starts total and so he has hit the "magic number for QB starts" as per our FO.
Can't any reasonable person agree that trying a new offense versus growing in the resident offensive scheme be deemed utterly ridiculous? Or does that just too much damn sense?

As Ben Volin said...the Pistol is a formation and Tannehill is no stranger to it.

I really think we should just let the guy perfect the scheme he already has the most experience with- now the rest of the offensive players have experience with it and can help teach concepts to incoming rookies. Thanks for pointing out GE Force, i had not read that article by Volin.
