Obviously this has been discussed before, he seems to back up statistically that gun bans have little affect on violence going down, maybe a argument for it going UP could be made.

Oh, and before I forget, a bonus at the end from our VP on his feelings of the effectiveness of an AWB. Strangely enough, Biden, who headed up this proposal to the President, seems to have the same thoughts as many of us pro second amendment guys do.

Its about feelings.....the moral high ground...results dont matter, just that they did something symbolic, to show how much they care and how much more enlightened they are

It's the allusion of safety Statler but in order to champaign the "allusion of safety" you first must perpetuate the "illusion of fear and threat".
