What's your point? Atleast 10 teams pays their kicker over $2 million a year.
Point is money is not an issue. And just because at least 10 teams do it does not make it right.

people are looking at hartline based on no support to take heat off. things change but one thing hartline can do that noone else on this team can do is break off route when tanny moving around in pocket. thats why RT wants him back.

otherwise, your wasting your words and contract talk is nothing right now, just conjecture.

Also hartline is average vs. Top corners ..they shut him off easy..he seems intimadated.
But against average corners, he tends to dominate. Basically if after we get one of the big three, and get another talented receiver in the 2nd or 3rd round, teams still decide to put their top corner on Hartline, I will be extremely happy to watch them shut down Hartline, as the other receivers continue to wreck the opponent's pass defense.

Obviously I want Miami to bring back Hartline, but at 4 - 4.5 mil. Miami is going to get a number 1 receiver, which will put Hartline where he belongs best, at #2 or #3 this year, so 5 - 6 mil is very expensive.

I agree w this post depending on the asking price of Hartline. If we go after one if the big names then drafting a WR high and keeping Hartline is a mistake. If we can keep Hartline at 5 per year, then I would sign Jenning, Bowe or Wallace, then finally pick a WR with our 2nd pick of the 3rd round. Any higher would be stupid

WRONG. We should keep Hartline and let Bush go, better yet PAY Bush to go. Doesn't really matter who we keep, if Reggie stays we don't have a shot at the playoffs.

This is a good test of JI's negotiating skills. Hartline is the sole WR that Ireland drafted or recruited in free agency by Miami to have exceeded expectations. So Ireland will show him a decent offer (expect $4 - 4.5M pa), but no way does he warrant Laurent Robinson ridiculous money of $6.6m pa.
Hartline is a solid #2 or #3 receiver with limitations. If JI pays too much to keep him it reflects on his shortcomings as a GM.

so how do you score tds when you don't get the ball thrown to you in the end zone? Is there a reason that the touch down machine Brandon Marshall had no touch downs as a dolphin either? If Tannehill could lead a receiver or hit the deep ball, Hartline would have had more like 6 TDs and this would all be a mute point.

BTW, alot of patterson supporters have no problem with his 5 TD's of his entire college career and 2 of those were special teams or end around, which isnt happening in the kickoff depleted NFL.
