Not worth the headaches at all. Literally. Know way does Philbin want a guy like this. Don't care how talented he is on the occasions he sees the field.

It's not going to happen guys. There's no way Minn will trade him for a 3rd round pick. He can ask whatever he wants, he's still under contract and they can sit on him another year if they want. He wants an extension or to be traded out (if the reports are true, which is questionable itself). Hell, they could stay pat on him this year, play him and then lose him in FA and probably get a better comp pick than trading him this year.

He will be an even bigger headache if he ends up with the pats.

For a third rounder I would not blink. Consider it done.
Any chance we trade our first for Minnesota's first and Harvin? Sounds like a winner to me...take Rhodes, Banks, or Trufant at 18, I think, and get Harvin to boot! No picks lost...Bam!

You guys understand that we aren't just trading away a 1'st 2'nd or 3'rd rounder but also going to pay more than what mike wallace was asking for. Percy want Calvin johnson type money, which i don't believe he will receive or deserve.

I can't see making this deal.

Thanks to Like2God for the great Avatar/Sig!
I don't think he will get any more than Wallace...he is good for sure but not Fitzgerald good. I am thinking about 4-5 years at about $8-10 million a year but incentive laden based on playing time and performance with about half guaranteed. Harvin does not have the leverage that Wallace does as he is not a free agent. If he wants out of Minnesota and to more than double his salary, he will have to concede a little.
