With the first pick in second round, draft S Elam. Dont resign Clemons. Its time we start seeing the snot come out of WR helmets when they get hit and forget the Clemons who cant tackle B.S. Rashad and Elam will create turnovers and spread fear. we dont need a RB in the second round.

It's funny, I watched one of Bernard's first games in 2011 and thought, wow this kid looks good I should pay attention to him in the future. Then I proceeded to not pay any attention to him until now. Going with my gut from 2011 and the things I've seen briefly on some cutups on youtube, I'd be bold enough to say I like him as a prospect. However, I'm of the school of thought that you can find RBs later in the draft. As much as I'd be interested in the sexy pick, I'd be way more inclined to go for a DB, WR, or DE in the 2nd round. I wouldn't be disappointed at all if we drafted him though.

No thanks! I don't want explosive play makers, it's not what this team "needs" so lets not go BPA let's fill a need instead. That way we have something to whine about Ireland for all season long.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: If Bernard is available in the second, I'm drafting him.

I've spoken highly about him for a while now and my mind has yet to change.

I laugh when people say no way to a RB.

Well, everytime I think about the draft, I am thinking what Philbin is thinking and what he has said in the past.

What was the issue with Miller not getting playing time. Pass pro

What do we need at the goaline and 3rd and 4th and short? A guy who can pound it.

what I think we are looking for is a compliment to miller who is bigger, diff style runner. but make no mistake, we are looking.

I heard the first guy we talked to at Senior Bowl after touch down was Kenyon Berner (sp?)

Ireland also said we are looking for playmakers even if we have players at a position. But hey, Ireland is just a lying sack a......lol

Bumping this thread cause I love the guy. The way FA is going (we've spent a bunch, not many great RB options left), I definitely think he should be in the conversation at 2a - I'd take him in a second if he's there, personally. His stock might've fallen a bit at the combine because he measured small, so maybe he slips to 2b, who knows. Mayock has him as his 4th RB, fwiw.

He's a dynamic, versatile player - very good return man and pass-catcher, willing blocker. Has great vision, sets up his blocks extremely well, and surprising lower-body strength combined with quick feet give him great balance. Gonna be a stud!

Tar Heel fan here too that saw all of his games, the kid can play, He has a special vision, I am sad to say that I don't think we will draft him, I just hope NE doesnt get him, my prediction is that he goes to GB in the 1st.

I love GIO. But he won't make it out of round #1.
