There is nothing about that quote that says he is willing to take a DISCOUNT to play here. He can make all the comments he wants, he will say he is willing to play for ANY team that is willing to meet his contract demands.

If Miami is only willing to give him $7mil/year and [enter team name here] is willing to offer $8mil/year he won't be playing for us.

Not to come off negative, but some of you guys need to realize we are not the only team trying to sign a receiver in free agency.

Agree with your statment, but I'd add that there are not 31 teams that need and can afford Jennings. I would guess that there are only about 4-5 teams including Miami that need and could afford him. It will still come down to MONEY and not because he loves Joe Philbin.

This. He shouldn't get much more than that and that to me is a bargain. Immediately changes my "sign Wallace at all cost" mindset and changes to sign Jennings now!

Also I think it would be awesome to try and trade for Finley. I would trade up to a 3rd but think Ireland could land him for a 4th considering they're thinking of releasing him anyway. Those two moves right there change this offense significantly.

I Like Finley, I think he can be servicable here for a few years, but if we are looking for a long term proven #1 type guy then Wallace
