They must have moved the clip...was the story about a Denver principal that started a tutoring program, but it was only available to black or latino children. Whites couldnt participate. The parents were in an uproar, the Principal was unapologetic, but the school board was embarrased by his actions. I'll try to find a new link shortly

What is causing this achievement gap?
Parents setting up a tutoring program to tutor their own children? Assuming these parents are also fulfilling their parental roles in mandating the completion of homework, and helping with that homework, I commend their efforts. Children can generally rise to the expectations parents set for them.
