I tried to be as detailed and realistic as possible:
Approx. 42 mil. in cap space...
Re-Sign R.Starks (4 years, 24 mil. - 6 mil./year)
Re-sign C.Clemons (2 years, 4 mil. - 2 mil./year)
Re-sign T.McDaniel (3 years, 9 mil. - 3 mil./year)
Re-sign N.Garner (2 years, 6 mil. - 3 mil./year)
Re-sign Marlon Moore, P.Devlin, B.McCann, J.Amaya and A.Spitler for a combined 3-4 mil.
Franchise Tag J.Long (1 year - 10 mil.) - Let him earn a long term deal, if not, cut ties after the season.
Let R.Bush walk (I'd make him an offer, but I think he chases more money somewhere else like Detroit. It'll be sad to miss him)
Let S.Smith walk (let him drop interceptions somewhere else)
Let Hartline walk (I'm on the fence about signing him, but in the end, I think he'll demand too much money than his one TD per season is worth)
Let Fasano walk (he's been serviceable, but with the FAs available, there are better options out there)
Let Matt Moore walk (I appreciate everything he did here, but hopefully he'll get a starting chance somewhere else)
Let R.Feinga and R.J. Stanford walk
28 mil. under cap...
After the following moves:
CUT - D.Patterson (save 4.6 mil.)
CUT - D.Carpenter (save 2.7 mil.)
=
35 mil. - 7 mil. for draft picks =
28 mil. entering free agency...
- Sign WR M.Wallace (4 years, 40 mil. - 10 mil./yr.) Deep threat that we're lacking. I originally wanted Jennings, but I ultimately like Wallace better because he's younger
- Sign TE D.Keller (4 years, 20 mil. - 5 mil./yr.) The Red Zone target that we need. I'd rather use money to sign Cliff Avril at Defensive End instead, but I think he'll be asking for too much.
- Sign Brent Grimes (1 year, 4 mil.) - One of the best corners in the league before he gets healthy, he'll sign a one year deal to try to get a bigger payday the following year.
- Sign QB Jason Campbell (1 year, 2 mil. - 2 mil./yr.) Strictly an insurance policy for Tannehill in case Devlin isn't ready for the No. 2 gig.
- Sign K P.Dawson (2 years, 6 mil. - 3 mil/yr.) A West Palm Beach native, what better way to ease into retirement than playing his final two years close to home.
$3 mil. for signings throughout the season, etc.
Draft
My favorite player in this draft is DeAndre Hopkins from Clemson. I think he's going to be a stud and is the most complete receiver in the draft (sorry Keenan Allen). However, #12 is too high to take him, so I am trying to trade down in the first and pick up an extra second. Look no further than the Chicago Bears and their piss poor offensive line. They would love to move up and select Lane Johnson. In exchange, we receive their #20 overall pick and their second rounder (#20 in the second round)
Now on to the draft…
Rd 1.20 DeAndre Hopkins, WR Clemson

The two things we need in a receiver is ability to catch the ball at its highest point and a nose for the end zone…this kid has both.
Rd 2.11 Tyler Eifert, TE Notre Dame

(I don’t think he should still be available here, personally, but most mocks I’ve seen still have him on the board at this point).
