yeah the case is that he has way more value and is twice the athlete.... I will burn Davone Bess in a race right now..... Edelman can play slot, all special teams, is a good returner and would be the best cornerback on our current roster, he played nickel all of the 2011 playoffs... and is a more than capable emergency quarterback.

Now lets be fair. Hartline's a pretty good #4 receiver and don't be surprised if Ireland communicates this in the contract negotiations.

yes and you risk the tinkering of chemistry, also Bess is probably the 2nd best slot receiver in the NFL and you want to get rid of him? He's a hard worker, a team player, and a GOOD player. Also the cap penalty we'd incur if we release Bess for Edelman who btw is unproven and didn't put up even average numbers with Tom Brady who makes everyone look good. Ryan Tannehill only threw what 14 touchdowns (same if not worse than the QBs totaled in 06 and 07), and its not the receivers fault or a lack of ability to score. Now I'm not saying its entirely Tannehill's fault but he warrants much of the blame along with Sherman but its ok because he's a rookie, next season it'll probably be corrected. The lack of TD's argument is starting to get old, y'all just look at the numbers and thats it, you all fail to realize the factors behind them. and its spelled LOGIC btw.

Meaning Greg a #2 (hopefully a rookie instead of Hartline) Bess and another receiver... bringing in Edelman to battle Armon Binns and Matthews for the last 2 spots, odd man out.... Edelman just brings so much value
