If you are buying new or a couple years old you will be fine with most any car to be honest. Every car manufacture has their set of unique problems but with a car that new you should be fine, at this point you just look for the best deal for what you want and roll with it.

Being partial to the Nissan/Infiniti line of basically bullet-proof (providing you maintain them) vehicles..that are mostly engineered with driving pleasure in mind, you might also consider the Pathfinder - or Murano if you are leaning more toward the Highlander type of SUV.
