Why would any player looking for a sliver of hope to winning the big one go to Cleveland? Where Wallace ends up will speak volumes imo.

I think Mike Wallace is looking to get paid first and foremost. I think in all likelihood wherever he signs will be which team gives him the best deal $ wise.

If this team gives Hartline more than 5 per, it'll be the worst signing in the history of the NFL.
So at 5.5 MIL Hartline would be the worst signing in NFL history? Not saying it'd be a good deal by any means but.... You gotta be kidding!

Eh, hyperbole and certainly not as bad as dumping 1500 yards of production for two 3rd round picks, but Hartline is worth 4-4.5 per. Not a penny more.

Yes! Hartline would shine with a true #1 lining up opposite of him.
Just like he shined with Marshall??? He sucks and needs to be replaced. He can't run after the catch and has the worst ball tracking skills on the team. Time to move on!!!

Why is there a love affair for Hartline on this site??? The WCO only works with WRs with run after catch ability. Hartline is terrible at gaining yards after catching the ball!!! He's a bum that has 3 TDs in the last 3 full seasons. Let it go already and move on from him. Wallace, Jennings, and Patterson is a dream come true that would make us playoff contenders for years to come.
You honestly sound like you're counting on it...let me save you the heartbreak and tell you that it's just not going to happen. I would obviously be on board with it, but having the best free agents sigh with your team in one offseason is a tad wishful thinking, no?

Hartline is really a #3 IMO. Simply because he doesn't RAC that well = lack of TD production. I'm indifferent if we re-sign him. What we need are two WRs who can score TDs.

All you need do is watch the catch and attempted run in the SF game where the DB whiffed on Hartline and flew OOB; Brian went to turn upfield and even if he ran a 6.5 forty he would have scored. What happened? He suffered from white man's disease - tripped over a tall blade of grass or is just a total dork as professional athletes go - and fell over - for no reason. Dufus.

Also, let's not forget 1,000 receiveing yards in today's NFL isn't really anything to be excited about. He had 1 TD. That's awful. He also got about 25% of his yards in one game.

I like him; but his sense of self-worth is way off the charts inflated.

IMO that's the work group of draft prospect they could end up with.
