Our 1st round pick's value, the 12th overall, is around 1200 pts, for those who believe in "the" chart. Let's send it to Cincinnati, along with our 4th rounder(78 pts) in exchange for the 21st overall pick (800 pts) and their 2nd round pick, the 37th overall (530 pts).

That would give us picks 21, 37, 43, 56, 76 and 84 in the first 3 rounds.

How about we go New England and draft Eifert AND Ertz with picks 21 and 37?

We would still have 4 good picks (43, 56, 76 and 84) to draft OL, CB and DE.

What do you think?

While I think it is a good idea, there would have to be a player Cincinnati is willing to trade up for. This draft lacks players like that.

i would not draft both .... you can't compare them with Hernandez and Gronkowski (who have 2 totally different skill sets), these two are pretty similar .... why would you do that??

i wouldnt be opposed to trading down, but i dont see why cincy would trade up. also i wouldnt go back to back te's. we need cb help bad

Good idea. I don't like trading back but of all year's this is unfortunately the year it makes the most sense - based on what's available and value etc.

This could be a good year to trade back, however like all years you have to find a partner willing to trade up. Someone has to fall in love with a guy that's still there at 12 that they don't think will be there when they pick.

could go the other way too... could trade back up into the first, or likewise, trade back up into the 2nd. no reason to think we can't sign Wallace, draft Patterson, and draft eifert or ertz... shrugs...
