option 1... Jordan or Mingo @ 12 then Woods or Wheatin in rd 2
option 2... Trade down to 18 draft Eifert than one of the aforementioned WR's in rd 2 with extra pick Armstead (OT Ark Pine Bluff)

I could definitely see us trading down or up this draft. We have the ammunition to trade up and the reason to trade down. Most of the prospects we view as good fits and need fillers are in the late 1st through early 2nd range where we have no picks. That's where many of the best WR's and TE's will be taken and there will still be risky pass rushers in that range as well. There should be at least one of the upper echelon CB's still available in that range as well. So, unless one of our top prospects falls into our lap at 12, I definitely see Ireland looking to trade back and pick up more picks. This team is in a major rebuilding phase, one of the youngest teams in the NFL, re-vamping just about every system from the Sparano era, and rebuilding the culture and skill sets from the ground up. Philbin wants a young team that can grow together under him and his philosophy.

The rookie salary sanity has really helped open up the trade gates for GM's to wheel and deal to get value while putting their team into those picks where their need-fit makes the most sense from a value standpoint. I expect to see a LOT of trades, and wouldn't at all be surprised to see Miami moving up/down to fit into the parts of the draft where their guys make sense.

I wouldnt mind trading back into the first to add a second and fourth...

    We would have
    1-1st
    3-2nds
    2-3rds
    2-4ths

Then move up in the first with our early 2nd and early 3rd

At the end of the day we would have

    2-1st
    2-2nd
    1-3rd
    2-4th

Then all we have to do is run the draft, write down the best guys, then turn the xbox off without saving! It's so simple!

With his definition of a "difference-maker" we're most likely choosing an OL first. If Warmack is at #12 I don't see them trading down, he'll be our pick.

I'd be fine trading down and having a 1st, 3 2nds, and 3 3rds. 1st OG, TE, DE, CB in the 2nd, WR, OT, ILB, in the 3rd.

I'd trade back and get Keenan Allen. Then use the 2nd received in the trade back and our 2nd & 3rd and get Eifert in round 1. So... we get Keenan Allen, Tyler Eifert, and still have a 2nd & a 3rd. Unrealistic but interesting.
