    cook may get tagged
keller they are talking about getting a deal done

Fasano already plays in this offense.

would love Eifert. Not only does he split out wide, but he is the best blocking TE in this draft by far. Total package.

I think Fred Davis is the most explosive free agent tight end. I wanted the fins to draft him in '08.

You sound like a broken record with this line. We get it, you hate Fasano...are you going to spew this same nonsense everyone says anything positive about him? No one's saying we can't still upgrade the position, but some fans actually appreciate what Fasano brings to the team. Get over it!
Fasano can be very dangerous with a TE like Keller... Remember how effective Fasano was with David Martin.. Keller is better than Martin.

Nick Buonticonti (sp?) has been preaching to anyone who will listen that Tyler Eifert will rewrite the records books and is the best player in this draft. I'm not quite as high on Eifert as that, but he's clearly my first choice from all the draft prospects or FA's out there. I think he'd be the Dolphins best ever TE, even better than Keith Jackson was for us.

    TE Solution:

Through Free Agency: Best available, in my opinion, is Martellus Bennett.

Through Draft: Gavin Escobar. Slated to go in the third, not a big time burner, but tall, and good ball skills.

I was reading that earlier this morning, as well. I like Eifert or Ertz more than I like anyone else in FA outside of Cook (who will be tagged, no doubt about it).

And did I miss something? When did guys start falling in love with Keller all of a sudden? He's fast, but the man is a walking drops machine.

I think people who expect us to draft a TE early are gonna be disappointed. I like Eifert a LOT, wouldn't even mind him at 12, tbh. Simply because he's a red zone monster, which is something we desperately lack. BUT I also know that we have Fasano, Clay- who's shown some flashes, and Egnew- who's a dud thus far, but still, we used a relatively early pick on him last year.

The only way I can see us drafting a TE before the 3rd round is if Ireland is ready to move on from Egnew already (which I would have no problems with, the guy hasn't shown a damn thing). But that's obviously a big IF. Unless that happens, I think best case scenario is we draft a guy like Jordan Reed or go get someone like Martellus Bennett that allows us to address the need without breaking the bank.

I think the more likely route is that we either draft a guy like Jordan Reed, or address it in FA without breaking the bank.

Has Finley been tagged/resigned? I would like to pick up him and then target a TE with the #2 2nd or a 3rd...
he is still with the team, we would eithe have to trade for him or hope he is cut
