News2 Dolphins talking contract with Reggie Bush

In the last week the Dolphins and Bush's agent Joel Segal discussed a deal for Bush.

So there is interest by the Dolphins to retain Bush.

But how intense is that interest?

As I have reported and is apparently confirmed by Miami's approach, the Dolphins have a price set for Bush. The team wants Bush. But the Dolphins want Bush at their price.
Doesn't sound like anything is imminent, but talks have opened. My guess is that he still ends up leaving for another team paying more money.

Yeah, agreed. It seems like Ireland will give him a "take it or leave it" offer and that's that.

Hopefully we can get him back at the right price. There's no question that Bush brings playmaking ability to the offense when used properly.

Be afraid, Brady. Be very afraid!

I just try to be myself, whatever that is. I don't think about how I'll be remembered. I just want to be consistent over a long period of time. That's what the great players do.

He would be a fantastic addition to the passing game (only Philbin-Sherman know why the hell he hasn't been utilized as such before frequently) and will take the pressure off Wallace/Jennings if signed. I am not in favor of adding a 1st round receiver like I used to, and would seriously love to have Bush back in the passing game as well as a 2nd/3rd round receiver and Wallace/Jennings. Who knows if Hartline will be back.

Mike Sherman will not be creative enough to make this team successful

$5M per year??? Wow, that's a tad extreme dont you think. How bout 2 years $8M a slight drop from his previous.

I personally think he is worth more money than Dmitri patterson, Richard marshall and Richie Incognito and they make more than 4 million. I also dont think Hartline should make more
