    Sean smith seeking 24mill guaranteed

    Per Rotoworld

    Free agent CB Sean Smith is looking for "at least" $24 million guaranteed on his next deal.



    Smith and his agent were said to be using Titans CB Jason McCourty's contract as a baseline for negotiations, and McCourty received $20 million guaranteed on his six-year, $43 million deal. A source close to Smith reportedly "laughed" when asked if there have been productive talks with the Dolphins. The Palm Beach Post says not to rule out Miami using the transition tag on Smith.

    If he wants a McCourty type deal then make it the same length of 6 to 7 years. That's around 4 mil per season. Miami can do that as it would not be high at all against the cap.
