    My apologies. Oakland Raiders DT Desmond Bryant was arrested in Miami-Dade last night, not Dallas WR Dez Bryant.

    Omar Tweeted that Dez Bryant was arrested...which was not true. Either he was he trying for scoopage or just doing sloppy work. It is ridiculous for him to put something like this out there and it started a mini firestorm. He has taken his initial post down saying Dez Bryant was arrested and Omar was "working on more details".

    He should be canned IMO. Terrible work once again. It is one thing to get players names wrong and have terrible assessments. It is another to say a man has been arrested when he has not been. Omar has no track record of being accurate.

    He doesn't deserve to get fired for a mis-tweet. He deserves to be fired for being an awful beat writer. Had he written it in the paper then I would understand.
