Signing him will be a mistake.

2. He is the type of target that would mesh with Tannehill's skill set
3. He is "Philbin guy"
4. He is a player of high character
5. In the end, he will not cost as much as Wallace. Wallace is not a complete receiver. I would rather bring in Jennings. Re-sign Hartline, draft Patterson or draft an explosive threat in round two.

Bottomline is I like the Jennings pick up.

Many years ago Bill Belichick played a game of bluff with Miami in the Draft. Minnesota were on the clock and Miami were next in line waiting for their turn. Belichick offered the Vikings a draft pick to move up. The Vikings then told Wannstedt and co that they could move up one spot if they gave up a 4th round draft pick (and we didn't have many picks). We gave it up and selected Vernon Carey. A few picks later Bill Belichick got his player, Vince Wilfolk, who is still the star of their D-line. The point of the story is that
Belichick loves to mess with GMs and coaches in his division. New England are struggling to afford to keep Wes Welker's and now we hear that they could outbid us for Wallace. Don't be surprised if Belichick is just wanting to ensure that we pay top $ to get him. Belichick derives pleasure from messing with the opposing teams like us in this case.
