of the 3 top 10 Ts ... i like Fisher and Johnson ... it would be hard not to take either of them if they were sitting there at #12.

problem is .... they are both likely franchise LTs. getting either doesn't solve our T problem, since Martin doesn't look to be a capable RT without a boatload of continued work -- work that is not happening right now mind you. Suffice it to say, unless we were to sign a FA or McDonald, Adams or Yeatman turns all world - our OL challenges won't be solved this season.

While i do believe Martin will be able to handle LT if he puts the work in, i absolutely believe that Fisher and Johnson are better prospects than Martin. 'Maybe' since both of these guys are pretty athletic, they could make the switch easily to RT ...

i think he is as good as gone.when we drafted Martin in the 2nd last season it gave us options going into this year.had to figure Long was going to ask for way to much $$ and hence see his way out of Miami.im good with this lets spend money on play makers.

I'm tired of taking tackles with early picks - Wade, Carey, Long, Martin - re-sign Long, let Martin play RT and draft playmakers...

**** him, I don't care. He can walk. I will admit that Matt Ryan should have been the choice.

true but Lane Johnson's cap number would be like 2 million or less compared to Jake Long's 10-12. Rather give Wallace AND Jennings both 10-12

I'd be ok with drafting Lane Johnson and he and Martin can battle it our for the LT spot and the other one can play RT. I have a feeling Cordarrelle Patterson is going to be grabbed before #12, so we can maybe focus on Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, Keenan Allen, or Robert Woods if they drop to the second round. One of them should be there.

Long already got paid thanks to those absurd rookie contracts before they changed them a year after he was drafted. Long he been getting worse every year should be accepting a discount.

Bailey may drop to the early 3rd with his lesser than ideal size and 4.5+ 40. It depends on how many WRs go in the first few rounds since this class is deep at WR.
