    That sounds good... can't get excited until he signs on the dotted line though. I think Brandon Marshall would've won us a couple more games this year. That's the impact a big time receiver can have on your team.

    It's a no brainer IMO. We didn't have the talent for Peyton and i have the feeling that the Miami community isn't Peyton's "flavor".
    Peyton lived in Miami during the offseason during that time and loved it there. That was actually the reason we were frontrunner. What scared him off were Irelands style and Philbins commitment to the West Coast Offense.

    We were never the front runners, we just thought we were. Hell, we were the first team "eliminated" from his top choices. Peyton didn't want to play in the same division as Brady, knowing it won't be easy to get that division title.

    I don't think all the stalking our media did to him right after he got released by the Colts helped either.
