I would love to grab Wallace and use hartline's 6.5mil/yr on Cook. Then turn to the draft and pick up two or three receivers like Bailey, Swope, or Wheaton. Then we'd be rolling.

I predict, Mike Wallace gets 5 yrs $65 million bucks from the desperate Dolphins. They outbid NE and Belicheat. Ireland will get fired at the end of season because Wallace doesn't live up to the high expectations of The Bossman Ross.
I predict Miami will let Long, Smith, and Bush walk and use their cap space to get us both Wallace and a seam threat TE. Then choose to replace Smith with a more deserving CB in the FA market. Hartline and Clemons will be back. And then draft Linemen. We have the cap space and draft picks to make this happen. Go Ireland!
LOOK im not discounting ANY report that has us getting Wallace, its actually a good thing that Im hoping for...however....you remember last season when people had us getting Peyton???

Sources have told Darlington that Ireland is aware of his under estimated negotiations style of last season and is intent on not making the same mistake this offseason. Get er done, Jeff!

Very true, I am also concerned that it won't happen. The one thing though in Miami's favor this time around is that Manning was all about the situation last season. Wallace is about the money. If reports are true, the money will be there in Miami.

I would jump for joy if any of the following WR's are selected in the 2nd round #1) Justin Hunter - he is flying under the radar, with this being his 2nd year removed from his knee surgery, he looks to be back to 100% and could turn out to be an INCEDIBLE STEAL!!! #2) Robert Woods - is also flying under the radar as well. He played with a bum ankle last season and lost some of his speed and cutting ability. He is the best route runner of the WR class and has Velcro hands and looks to be a perfect fit for the WCO.

I think we have a lot more to offer Free Agents as opposed to last year. Peyton was being asked to take over a non existent offense. Wallace is going to be offered big money to come to Miami and be Tanny's #1 target, and be a part of an offense that will be filled with talent (hopefully Cook and a drafted WR), Lamar Miller is going to shine, Hartline and Bess are always good for first downs.
We aren't the 49ers, but... if we sign Wallace, Cook, and replace Sean Smith in the draft, we will be far improved in a short period of time. More than I can say for the last two decades.

I'd be okay with this so long as they still drafted a WR in the first 3 rounds.
