Over 4 months and he's still rehabbing? Geez! Good luck with that 11 mil/yr buddy.

So long Jake.....Guys like Zach Thomas always restructured their deals to stay a Phin, but all I hear from you Jake is how much money you want.

Not sure Zach Thomas is a great example to bring up since we basically screwed him over after all the restructures he did, so they could spend money on Reggie Torbor lol

Long needs to suck it up and swallow a bit of reality.

@ "most important is winning". So Jake is following Mario William's speech/cliche. Mario went where the money went, and it sure didn't result to winning. Same goes to Jake.

I'll laugh my a** off when he chooses to go play with Matt Ryan so he can win a playoff game.

If Jake Long goes play LT in Atlanta, Matt Ryan won't make it to another playoff game.

Reality will be when no one offers Jake more than 4 million per year and he comes crawling back hoping he can bend over Ireland and try to get 7 million a year, which would result to us outbidding ourselves again.

Jake Long told NFL Live he is about 13 weeks out of surgery & is still rehabbing the tricep injury that put him on IR. Long told NFL Live the most important thing he cares about where he winds up next is, winning. He wants to win. Jake Long finished his interview with NFL Liveby saying his wife is his support system & where he lands next he'll make the most out of it. Not once did Long give any indication he wants to stay in Miami, sounds like he is ready to part ways and play for his next team.

Merril Hodge on NFL Live listed Jake Long as a "Major Risk" in Free Agency. Hodge said Long has major injury concerns & his play has declined
Thank god because he isnt half as good as he (or some) thinks he is. Ireland would be smart to let him walk and thankfully thats the direction it looks like it is going. LEt him go stink it up on another team with all his false starts (at home no less) and holding penalties as well as every DE that puts him on his a** with only a bull rush.
I believe any man's finest hour - his greatest fulfillment to all he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle...Victorious
