These are each teams main targets that the QBs had to throw to also..... other than brees, all of them had some very talented wideouts

this just proves that ryans future is going to be incredible. his stats are great considering his limited college starts and lack of talent around him in his first year. cant wait to see him progress!!!

Not sure this proves anything. His stats were roughly the same/slightly worse, than some of the games greats. True he had less than average talent on the outside, but Brady has had some great years with less than average talent also. I DO think the jury is still out on RT. He is far ahead of where I thought he would be at this point considering he had such limited action in college, and we had such a below average team around him, but I personally am not willing to say without a doubt that we have our franchise QB. I do think he deserves the next couple years to find out before we start bringing in competition, and I do FEEL and hope he is our QB of the future, but nothing is for certain yet IMO. We will be able to tell alot more after 2014. This year we will bring in a lot of talent around him, and it will take a year to see how teams are going to play him. So I figure it will really be another year before we really know what we have in him. Things are looking good however. My hopes are still really high, and a below average year this year will not dampen them. Two bad years....that may be a different story.

I just think he is our franchise guy for the next 12+ years and will be among the games best in 5 years

not gonna lie, I'm not old enough to remember if Marvin was with Peyton his rookie year, or even have a recollection of who Curtis Conway is. I do know LT went 1st round the same year Brees went #33

Comparison or no comparison, I will just go out on a limb and say this kid is going to be great. He is driven, smart, well-grounded, great arm, athletic, and does not often make the same mistake twice.

If someone is driven and confident as a rookie in this league, aside from talent, you are going places.

You can have all the talent in the world but not be driven to greatness. This kid is excellent in everything he does, and that includes radio and TV interviews. The question everyone had on him last year was inexperience. That is no longer an issue.

I believe Tannehill is going to be a damn fine QB. But I am tempering my expectations only because of our recent past luck at the position. But he is a promising kid no doubt.
