    I hope we at least get a leak of it fairly soon. Not because I'm excited to see it (although I am), but because if it sucks or needs tweaking they will need lead time to fix it. Given the atrocious barf of the stadium logo and the effeminate upturned tail leaked logo, I don't have a lot of faith in them getting it right out of the gate.

    We want classy and cool, not antiseptic and bland.
    What makes you think they would change it if we don't like it? I believe any changes would have to wait as it has to be approved by the league. Not to mention I am sure they have already started making new merch with the new logo and colors.

    From a marketing perspective, if you are going to sign a big name free agent... having him hold up his Jersey with the new logo makes sense... I mean, knowing they are going to change the logo, who is going to run out and buy a jersey with the old logo ?

    Why not debut the new logo on say, draft day, on the hat that 1st round picks always wear? That will get people talking.

    I don't work for Nike and the only thing I have as evidence is an email confirming they will finally be releasing the logo(which I will not be posting online). They have been promising us the logo time and time again but kept pushing it back. Recently we were quoted to see it a few days before the draft so this was surprising to me as well.

    Because they make no money on draft day sales. Who is going to buy draft shirts and draft hats after the fact? All of that would be on sale to buy before the draft.

    Whats the name of the company you work for? This would be very odd considering Nike has been working with Miami on a new logo for the past year. So do you work with Nike or are you saying Nike outsourced the Miami Dolphins logo to some other company?

    From a far this sounds like BS and go's against when the Dolphins said it was coming out " The Draft " BUT the timing would make MORE sense because it would mean Wallace could hold up his NEW Miami Dolphins Jersey next Wednesday.
    Chances are Nike has a design agency that does most of their work. It's just the way it goes in the design world... Nike pays someone to make something look cool and put their logo on it. Most big companies have their design work done through big ad agencies etc bc that's where the best designers/teams of designers are. Go to any large design firms website and look at their client lists, you'll be surprised at some of the big name companies you'll see. For example... here's a design firm a kid I know works at out of Colorado that actually does work for Nike...
