Enough Is Enough Just Sign Sebastian Vollmer
He can play LT or RT.
He is arguably the best run blocking OT in the league.
He is extremely athletic and would be a perfect fit for our blocking scheme.
We would be stealing him from our true rival. (screw the jets)
Does anyone know a single reason this would not be a good idea?
I am surprised he hasn't been signed. If we can sign him it takes away the need to sign a o/l in the 1st few rounds.

Vollmer has never played in a zone blocking scheme, Long and Winston have.
Something tells me the "top" of the OT FA's are waiting on Long to sign to set the market.

This is a business. Neither he nor the Dolphins have done anything wrong. They're just both exploring their options.
If Volmer were a priority I bet the FO what have had him in and maybe even overpaid like they did with Wallace & the LBs. It looks to me like Long is their preference so they are waiting.
