                 Guard Justins Smileybreaks leg in win and is out for the year

Winning on the road is never easy in the NFL. So the fact that the Dolphins went into St Louis and pulled out a victory is a positive statement for the franchise that needed this win. On this day it was all about the defense and a stingy secondary who came up with three picks on the day to keep Marc Bulger and the Rams out of the endzone. Ronnie Brown scored the games lone touchdown and Dan Carpenter added three field goals as the Dolphins move within one game of first place in the AFC East.

The win came with a price as starting guard Justin Smiley broke his leg and will miss the remainder of the season. The Miami Dolphins now have lost both starting guards to injury.
