DOLPHINS BOLSTER DEPTH WITH WAIVER CLAIMS

Anthony Armstrong

The Dolphins on Saturday were awarded four players via the waiver wire. WR Anthony Armstrong(Redskins) headlines a waiver wire class that also includes linebacker Sammy Brown(Rams), safety Troy Nolan(Texans) and cornerback RJ Stanford(Panthers). To make room for the new additions to the 53 man roster the team also announced that it has released running back Steve Slaton, linebackers Josh Kaddu and Jonathan Freeny and safety Tryone Culver.

There are also rumors and reports circulating that the Dolphins are fielding calls about a possible trade for backup quarterback Matt Moore, with Arizona and Green Bay the strongest possibilities. There is a chance that if this trade does indeed happen, it would be within the next 24-48 hours. Stay tuned.
