CROWDER SIGNS MULTI-YEAR DEAL WITH FINS

 Channing Crowder

With only a little over 24 hours before free agency kicks off, the Dolphins made another major move in regards to their own unrestricted free agents. The Dolphins and linebacker Channing Crowder agreed to a new multi-year deal that will keep the team's second leading tackler in 2008 in Miami for the foreseeable future..

With Vernon Carey and Crowder now signed long-term, the Dolphins still have their sights set on re-signing safety Yeremiah Bell before the clock strikes midnight tomorrow. The Dolphins are also reportedly keeping a close eye on Baltimore's center Jason Brown who is expected to become a free agent on Friday.
