                                    FINS DRAFT:

            WILL WILDCAT BECOME "WILDPAT" FORMATION?

Day one Picks Vontae Davis, Sean Smith and Pat White

The Miami Dolphins went into the 2009 draft hoping to address some key needs. They quickly addressed the secondary by drafting two highly regarded cornerbacks and then on the second day drafted two wide recievers. But the pick everyone is talking about the most is West Virgina quarterback Pat White. White, who is regarded as a great athlete, is expected to be a lightning bolt in the Wildcat offense that the fins introduced last season. His ability to run, throw and even catch the ball out of that formation can kick the threat up to a new level. But many are wondering if Miami blew it with that pick by not selecting a higher ranked player who may fit needs at linebacker or defensive line.
