OFFENSIVE! Out of Sync Fins Lose 19-7 Chad Pennington fumbles and commits one of the four turnovers by Miami The Dolphins started the 2009 season proving the pundits right. Moist experts predicted Miami to struggle this year and finish around 8-8. The offense had no answer and looked confused all day and the defense could not stop Matt Ryan and Tony Gonzalez as the game should have been much worse than the score reflects. The Miami Dolphin were beat and beat badly. They were out hit, out coached and out played. The defense played well against the run but not agains the pass. Even Pro Bowl tackle Jake Long looked poor as he was beaten all day and gave up two sacks. *sigh* As of today the so called experts look like genuises. The Dolphins failed to go out this off season and get a playmaker at the wide out position. They will pay for that this year as Chad Pennignton was looking all day for someone to be open. By contrast the Falcons went out and got Tony Gonzalez (playmaker) who made highlight play after highlight play. The Dolphins were reduced to sandlot style ball as they tried the Wildcat with Pat White. Nothing. They tried fancy throwbacks etc. and stil could not make a dent. This team needs to find its identity on offense. It should be a running team but the supposedly improved offensive line did little to open up room for the backs. When you can't run and you can't throw and you turn the ball over four times, you get what we got. A thorough whipping which leaves this team and its fans wondering who they really are.
