Carpenter A Late Pro Bowl Addition

CARPENTER KICKS HIS WAY INTO PRO BOWL

Second year kicker Dan Carpenter was named to the AFC Pro Bowl roster on Wednesday after San Diego Chargers kicker Nate Kaeding pulled out with an injury.

This will be Carpenter's first trip to the Pro Bowl and now gives the Dolphins three Pro Bowlers from the 2009 season. Carpenter joins left tackle Jake Long and safety Yeremiah Bell as the only Dolphins to make the team. Long will not play due to an injury.

Carpenter only missed three field goal attempts all year and connected on two game winning field goals against the Buccaneers and Patriots.
