                         Dansby is a big playmaker and is a beast against the run

The Miami Dolphins got their man. The Fins targeted LB Karlos Dansby from day one, they were his first stop, and they never let him out of the building. Dansby fills a major need for the Fish by bringing his 100 tackles per season to a Dolphin defense that saw its linebacker play decline this year. This should make a big impact on what Miami now does in the draft. Many had expected them to draft Alabama linebacker Rolando McClain but with this move you have to wonder if they target a nose tackle or safety or maybe even WR Dez Bryant if he is still around.  I get the feeling this will be the offseason we look back on and say "this is the year we got over the hump". GO MIAMI!

Pennington Re-signs

QB Chad Pennington has re-signed with the Miami Dolphins for 1 year and $24 Million. There had been a snag that Pennington wanted a no-trade clause. The team refused. The compromise is that if the team trades Chad it will have to pay him an extra $1.5 Million. As a fan I can tell you it feels great knowing number 10 is there if we need him and that he will help Henne continue to develop.

Jones Leaves to Denver

Nickle DB Nathan Jones was signed by the Denver Broncos.
