RANDY STARKS CASE RESOLVED

 Randy Starks

Dolphins defensive end Randy Starks made national headlines last Memorial Day Weekend when he was arrested and charged with aggravated battery on a police offer, which is a felony. Less than 11 months later, the case has finally been resolved and Starks' charges were reduced to a simple moving violation.

Starks will have to pay a $219 fine and complete an 8 hour traffic school course. This is good news for both Starks and the Dolphins, as he will likely face no punishment from the league for this matter.

Starks had a breakout season for the Dolphins in 2009, as he put up career highs in tackles with 56 and sacks with 7. Starks was arguably the best player on the defense in 2009, and the 26 year old is expected to have a strong 2010 campaign.
