Dolphins Draft Massive Guard PDF Print E-mail

OLE MISS GUARD JOHN JERRY DRAFTED

 John Jerry

The Dolphins depth along the offensive line, especially at the guard position, went from deep to very deep with the addition of Ole Miss offensive guard John Jerry in the third round of the 2010 NFL draft.

Offensive guard was not really a need position, but the Dolphins have been looking all offseason to improve the talent. The team has been shopping starting guard Justin Smiley for a few weeks and with the addition of Jerry, a trade will likely be completed before the end of the day Saturday.

Jerry, who is 6-5, 328 pounds will likely compete for the starting left or right guard position.
