DOLPHINS TRADE JUSTIN SMILEY TO JAGUARS

 Justin Smiley

The long rumored trade of offensive guard Justin Smiley is in the final stages of being completed. It has been almost two months since the Dolphins informed Smiley not to attend offseason workouts as they were shopping him to other teams. The Dolphins and Jaguars agreed to a trade today and will be completed if Smiley passes his physical which is likely to take place on Tuesday. With Smiley battling shoulder problems lately there is no guarantee he will pass the physical.

While the Dolphins originally were looking for a 3rd round pick in exchange for Smiley, it is likely they got nothing more than a 6th or 7th round pick. Once the trade is complete, details of the compensation should be announced.
