Another Challenge....

The 2010 Miami Dolphins have taken us all through a roller coaster of emotions thus far in the young season. We have shown excellent effort on the road, and have been rather perplexing at home. For this squad to distinguish itself this season, we need more of the former and less of the latter. This week presents an opportunity to buck that trend at home against a talented Steelers team.

However, it is the opinion of this writer, that this week we must change the “trifecta’s” preferred method of attack. Instead of relying upon the ground game, we MUST attack Pittsburgh through the air. No-one runs the ball with any degree of success against the Steelers.

Let me repeat that … NO-ONE runs the ball well against them.

This week the success or failure of the offense hinges completely upon the performance of Chad Henne. If we are to be victorious against them (and regain a hope of the “p-word”) it’ll be because we are able to hold off their pass rush long enough for Henne to find Marshall, Bess, and Hartline against their secondary.

In order for the 2010 Miami Dolphins to begin earning the respect that so many here crave – we must be able to hold serve in our house against these types of teams.

Can it be done? YES!

Will we do it? Tune in Sunday to find out …
