BRANDON MARSHALL TRADED TO BEARS FOR TWO THIRD ROUND PICKS Are the Dolphins Clearing Cap Space For Peyton Manning? The Miami Dolphins traded Pro Bowl wide receiver Brandon Marshall to the Chicago Bears in exchange for two third round picks. The move creates an additional $5.8 million in cap space and has Dolphins fans wondering (more like hoping) this is part of a greater plan considering how little Miami got in return for a three time Pro Bowl player considered by many to be in the top 5 at the position. The FinHeaven forums and talk shows are a buzz wondering if this move was done to create cap space and an opening for Peyton Manning and perhaps WR Reggie Wayne to come to the Miami Dolphins. If not then Ross and Ireland will have to go into hiding in South Florida as the backlash from fans is certain to be large and harsh as confidence in the teams leadership has all but disappeared this past season. Letting a player of Marshall's caliber get away at such a cheap price would deepen the divide between the team and its fan base. Although Marshall was somewhat of a problems child, he was popular with fans for his big play ability and potential. Many felt he would flourish if an elite QB could be added. We are wondering exactly what his move means. TALK ABOUT IT IN THE FINHEAVEN FAN FORUMS! The Largest Miami Dolphins Web Community on the Internet
