                         FINS CUT KICKER JAY FEELY

 

The Miami Dolphins cut eight year veteran kicker Jay Feely in favor of undrafted rookie Dan Carpenter. Feely had a solid 2007 season connecting on 21 if 23 field goals which was a team record. Carpenter won the job based on his performance in training camp and stronger leg. He made both field goals attempt in the preseason game against Tampa and the team decided that Carpenter was their man.
