2012 4TH ROUND PICK GETS SECOND CHANCE IN MIAMI

The Dolphins are giving Fullback/Tight End Evan Rodriguez a second chance in the NFL, after the Chicago Bears decided they had enough of him on Monday, just over a year after they spent a 4th round draft pick to acquire him. While the Bears reportedly liked what they saw on the field from Rodriguez, they apparently grew tired of his off the field issues. Rodriguez was arrested twice in the past four months and comes to the Dolphins on a short leash. He played college football for Temple and is a hybrid fullback who also has seen some time at the tight end position. It is expected that Rodriguez will compete with Jorvorskie Lane and Ina Liaina for the starting fullback position. The Dolphins released fullback Rupert Bryan to make room on the roster after claiming Rodriguez. TELL US WHAT YOU THINK IN THE FINHEAVEN FORUMS! |
