DRAMATIC WIN! Miami Kicks Wining FG with :10 Left Dolphins 25 Bucs 23 NICE ADDITION: New TE Kory Sperry Celebrates his TD With Greg Camarillo Sometimes you lose ugly and sometimes you win ugly. The Miami Dolphins won Sunday and it was more of a struggle than it should have been. After surrendering the lead late in the game, Chad Henne led the Dolphins on a dramatic game winning drive that led to a Dan Caprenter winning FG with ten seconds left on the clock. The drive was redemption for Henne who threw a terrible interception that led to the go ahead Tampa Bay score. In a wild and controversial game, the Fins dominated at times and then struggled at times. The biggest scare however came in the third quarter when starting RB Ronnie Brown was helped off the field with an ankle injury. The condition of Brown is not know, but he was on crutches after the game and further evaluation is expected on Monday. Talk About the Game in The FinHeaven Forums! GINN'S HISTORIC DAY EARNS HIM A SPOT IN HOF When the Dolphins recently beat the New York Jets 30-25 to complete the season sweep, Ted Ginn Jr. made history. He became the first player in NFL history to have two touchdowns in one game that were both over 100 yards. His first kick return went for 100 yards and his second kick return went for 101 yards. With this historic day, Ginn's cleats will now be on display at the NFL Hall Of Fame in Canton, Ohio. TELL US WHAT YOU THINK IN THE FINHEAVEN FORUMS! |

FINS PLAY TOUGH BUT FALL TO THE PATRIOTS NEW ENGLAND 27 MIAMI 17 Tom Brady was more than the Dolphin defense could handle This is a game that Miami was not supposed to win. If the Fins won on the road against New England it would mean they are better than we thought they would be. Well I think we fully see that there is a gap between the elite teams in the league and this Dolphin squad. This is not to say that Miami didn't play welll, because they gave the Patriots all they could handle. They scrapped and fought but in the end they just got beat by a better team. When the game got tight Brady had Moss and Welker. When the game got tight Henne had...well he really didn't have anyone. There was no answer for Miami as they just could not muster up the firepower to overtake New England who has Moss. All Moss did was make two spectacular plays which led to 14 of New Englands points. Bitter sweet was the Miami young secondary who at times looked brilliant and at other times just looked young. But they will get bettrer and I think Miami can feel great about their future. The negtives from the game has to be some of the play calling on offense. At times it was creative and brilliant, and at times it was baffling as the plays were border line ridiculous in their effort to be cute. I think it is a real stretch to call it good. I understand that when nothing is happening on offense and you need something to spark the offense. I don't understand watching perfectly good drives die because we decide to stop what is working and run two or three consecutive sandlot plays. And two more things about the coaching. Why punt with three and a half minutes left in the game? Your defense is not very strong and you have only one real chance to win. I don't get it. Also I have now twice seen Miami in the two minute offense basically run out the clock. I fully know we don't have a deep threat, but don't you have to try? I mean really I would rather see us go out with guns a blazing then running the clock out with runs and five yard passes. It makes no sense. But all that aside we played hard and we have some good young talent. But we just got beat by a better team today. Congratulations New England and we will see you in Miami. SWEEP!! GINN REDEEMS WITH TWO TDS DOLPHINS 30 JETS 25 Ted Ginn returned two kicks for TDS to lift Miami over the Jets The Jets talked the talk but could not walk the walk as the Miami Dolphins swept their rivals by marching into the Meadowlands and givng Gang Green their thrid consecutive loss to the Dolphins. All week long the Jet players and their coach talked smack and disrespected the Miami team and gave them no credit for the last win. Someone should tell them they have to win before they earn the rght to talk that much trash. Miami won on the quick feet of Ted Ginn who returned kicks of 100 and 101 yards in the 3rd quarter to infuse life into the Miami Dolphins who were struggling with a determined Jets defense. The Dolphin defense got in on the action when Jason Taylor picked up a Sanchez fumble and ran it So the Dolphin fans get to enjoy the sweep while the Jets fans can only wait until next year to get revenge. How sweet it is. TALK ABOUT IT IN THE FINHEAVEN FORUMS! |

CAN THE FINS SHUT REX AND THE JETS UP? MIAMI VS JETS Sunday, 1:00PM If they gave rings for running your mouth the Jets would be undisputed champions All week long the NY Jets have been running their mouths. Today they will get the chance to back up the harsh talk as the Miami Dolphin travel to the hostile Meadowlands to face the Jets for a rematch. Just a few weeks ago the Dolphins embarrassed the brash talking Jets who afterwards refused to give the Fins any credit or respect. This rivalry is once again one of the hottest in the NFL as these two teams really do not like each other. Who will come out on top this time? Will Rex and company blow out the Dolphins and make a statement or will the Wildcat run wild again and pound the ball down the throats of gang green? JOIN US FOR LIVE GAMEDAY CHAT! |
