Following a two day joint practice with the Carolina Panthers, the Dolphins are set to take on Cam Newton and the Panthers in Carolina this Saturday.

Heartbreakingly for Carolina, Kelvin Benjamin tore his ACL during the joint practice and will be out for the rest of the season. This will be a good test for the young receivers on their squad as they'll be facing off against a what is presumed to be a very good defense this year.

Miami is also looking to showcase their receiving core with new additions Greg Jennings, Kenny Stills and new tight end Jordan Cameron. While we saw Tannehill driving down the field like a true franchise QB last week, expect a tougher task when he goes out on the field this week with Luke Kuechly commanding the Carolina defense and improved cornerback Josh Norman challenging our receivers. This week will finally be a chance to see our offensive line be put to the test against a solid defensive front with leaders Star Lotulelei (if he is active) and Charles Johnson.

Miami's defense will be tested as well with the loss of Louis Delmas with another torn ACL. Saturday will also be a very big night for 2nd year Safety Walt Aikens. These next 3 weeks will be very important for Aikens and Jones while they get used to playing across from each other.
