Hey Bush, if you are gonna stage this form of propaganda, at least do a better job to sell me and turn the damn cameras off when the troops are rehearsing their answers from questions in which both were supposed to be "spontaneous."

As a member of the Armed Forces this stuff really offends me. Sadly it happens everyday all the time. Troops are used as propaganda shamelessly and are rarely allowed to freely speak their minds. This just disgusts me.

Man this happens all the time, heck when clinton visited miramar, everybody that was allowed to even talk to him was rehearsed, and if they were one of those allowed to talk to him, they were coached on what to say, what not to say etc.

Doesn't make it okay. Clinton did it too, but I thought this presidency was all about being ethical and that they were on a higher ethical ladder then the Clinton administration.

well I think this never would've happened had Rummy not been embarrassed about the humvee armour question. I never said it was okay, but with politics good or bad there are things that we have learned to accept, and there are many things that cannot be changed.

Why weren't any of you this offended when the press was staging questions for Rummy's PC about armor?

And there's no way those soldiers were told what to say. How something is said is far from telling someone what to say.

There is nothing un-ethical about trying to get the soldiers opinions out in a timely manor.

And Bush has not lied under oath now has he?

What in the world makes you think Bush is honest?
Because you can see it in his eyes?
