Photoshop Competition Spin-off: Media Maker Competition

i just had an idea, you know how their is a Photoshop Competition, well i was thinking, would anyone be up for a Windows Media Maker Competition, example, who ever runs it gives a subject to make a movie on, Dolphins, Football, video games ect... and we have to make a video on that subject using Pictures or video clips and even music, just an idea i came up with.

    Edit:
also some sites to upload w/o download are
    Google Video
    Vidilife
    Putfile

I was thinking we start this later in the offseason when things cool down a little. Other apps then movie maker include (sony Vegas, Adobe Premier on the high end) and there are tons of them available in every other format. My vote would be to make the movie in either Divx(.avi) or windows media (.wmv) But Yeah I'm in. Also you have to do it less frequently as good videos can take hours and hours and hours of time!!!!!

yeah... sadly someone with expriance making it would have to probably run it as most of us don't know what it takes, whats an acceptable deadline (1 week, 2 weeks,?) what should be done? what can be done? ect.

Videowave (made by Roxio) is a good, inexpensive ($60 - $80) program. I use it. It is similar to WMM, but with a lot more options, control, accepted media types, etc.

It's a good program to get your feet wet with. I've used it for everything from editing the commercials out of game tapes and burning them to DVD, to editing my digital video stuff from my video camera, to making a music video for my friends band, etc., etc.

    Good stuff.
