    The ultimate team player

Greg Maddux becomes the most unselfish player in MLB baseball. He agreed to a paltry $14.75 million one-year contract with the Braves even though he wanted $16 million to pitch this season.

we need to more self-sacrificing athletes like Maddog

    :tongue2:

are you kidding me. 1.25 million dollars to a baseball player is like asking me to take a fifty dollar a year paycut. Self-sacrififcing my ass. The money he will make this year alone would be enough for 20 families to live great life styles. He could play for five bucks this year and not even notice the $14.75 that he missed out on.

Are you serious? A little harsh! Come on it's $1.25 to a muti-millionare. Like I said it's like fifty bucks to the average person.

no - the Yanks would have went to arbitration and won

the Braves are almost as bad as the Yanks, except the Yanks won 4 WS (recently)

The Yankees wouldn't go to arbitration, they would just give him 20 million although he is asking for 16.

Not the last 2 years.... AND last year they were knocked out by a WILD CARD TEAM! Uncle Georgie must have recovered from his massive stroke after that.
Well enough to recover to pick on his fair haired boy Jeter. Things must be tough when you go from being the "favorite son" to the scape goat....

    :monkey: on the Skanks
You don't know my name but your boyfriend does.
Cause the Post Office wasn't taken applications. Like I told you Chuck.....CASH!

They should make these baseball players fight Mike Tyson for the salaries they are getting.
