    Bought an XB1, any recommendations?

So I finally bought an Xbox One against what I previously thought. Honestly, for $350 it isn't that bad of a sacrifice. I love the new home option in comparison to the 360's where as you can now access everything the console has to offer pretty much without having to completely quit out of the game you are currently playing. However, I go to Gamestop and am completely uninspired to buy anything...all I have is GTA V, and the closest game I am to buying at the moment is Far Cry 4 (have been playing that franchise since the original FC Instincts game), and probably won't even pay up for that. With Fallout 4 hopefully being announced this summer, are there any XB1 games you guys can recommend? I am not sure if the games are truly as bad as I think they are, or if I am slowly losing my interest in gaming overall. Probably a little bit of both.

Battlefield Hardline was release yesterday. Far Cry 4 is a great game.

Two games that are a ton of fun and at bargain prices right now are Wolfenstein and Sunset Overdrive. Sunset Overdrive might look corny as ****, but it was so much fun to play.

Far Cry 4, Dragon Age Inquisition, FIFA, Shadow of Mordor are all very good games.

In May Witcher 3 will be released

    In June Arkham Knight

By the way, do yourself a favor and purchase the Kinect.

I can't imagine owning an Xbox One without it.

**** that. That Kinect is so not worth it. At least it isn't worth it now that it is an optional accessory. I had one because when I bought my XB1 it came with it. I eventually traded it in because all it was doing was collecting dust. I mean unless you are making Skype calls, playing a fitness/dance game or talking to your Xbox it really isn't worth it.

I played the BFH beta on the 360 and was really unimpressed. Especially with the bank job map, it just felt empty. I was surprised when they went the cops and robbers route, definitely going to miss the gameplay they had in BF3. I'll probably pick that one up eventually. The only thing keeping me from getting FC4 is the environment, all the gameplay videos I have watched make it look too copy/paste for me. All it looked like was a bunch of orange trees and some mountains and hills over and over again.

I was big into making multiplayer maps on FC2, and the editor was severely downgraded in FC3 with it restricting you to only building on an island and mountain template. What I liked about FC2 is that you literally make the entire map from how you want your terrain to look like, trees, foliage etc. Have you tried the map editor for FC4?

Dragon Age and Mordor aren't really my type, but definitely looking forward to Witcher 3.

I throw out a few other suggestions...

If you like Dead Island....Dyinglight is decent..

I haven't plays a CoD since the first Black Ops, but really enjoyed Advance Warfare
Wolfenstein: The New Order was surprisingly good
Destiny....although not what I expected and it does lack a story, it is still fun to play and has some of the tightest controls.

Oooor if you connected your Xbox One to your cable or satellite provider and now you're able to do away with television remotes completely.

    Absolutely worth it.

Still not worth the extra $50 if bought with the system or the extra $149 if bought separately.

Dude, I still on my couch and tell the Xbox to do everything. No remotes necessary. Never have to worry about losing remotes. Volume up/down. Change channel. Record this record that. Show guide. Snap party. Go to friends. Invite so and so to my game. Do something awesome in a game, Xbox record that awesomeness.

If I didn't utilize all of that I wouldn't even own the Xbox One and I'd turn on my PlayStation 4 more than once a month. PlayStation 4 does NOTHING worth having.
