    Halloween is bar-none the best one ever made. Then what I don't really consider it a "horror" movie but i guess it is, Jaws, fantastic film. The Excorcist i think is very good. The Omen. The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the first Poltergeist. All solid.

    The Shining is up there too.

    Evil Dead/Army of Darkness for those awful cheesy horror movies that are awesome.
