The D will RushYa, Like Moscow
So the key matchup is going to be our CB's vs. their WR's. Our DB's are generally of the average height to less than average height . . . while FSU have some monster height WRs. Our defensive front is going to have to get some pressure on Winston while Perryman pretty much has to roam behind them and be a tackling machine and keep his eyes on Winston. No easy task at all.
On offense, Stephen Morris' entire career relies on this game IMO. If he puts up the lame performances we've seen the past 2 weeks (he doesn't need to win the game, but for the love of god play better), I personally don't care to see him anymore this season and all that potential 1st round hoopla (which is gone now anyways, pretty laughable) needs to turn into UDFA at best talk. James Coley needs to put on some of last years tape and get Morris in some sort of comfort zone to compliment the things he wants to do with him on offense . . . because it's gotta get better. Sure Duke needs to be able to run the football but if Miami has any type of chance against FSU, Morris needs to play ball.
I figure like this . . . A successful 2013 Canes team plays FSU twice. A split of those 2 games would be amazing, but the game on Saturday is obviously less favorable in getting that task accomplished. On the road in what is sure to be one of the most hostile environments we'll see in college football this season and one of our ace weapons, Dorsett, still out with injury. I'll go FSU 38 MIA 27
