    That's horrible

I have no problem with the food chain and all....animals eat other animals. Puppies aren't natural snake prey though (from what I know anyway) so that's just wrong.

I'm all for protecting 3 week old puppies and all, but isn't it legal to feed snakes mice? I mean a mouse may not be as cute or intelligent as a dog but who are we to choose which life is more important than the other?

Enough with the ****ing animal torture threads already. I know I don't have to read them but it's disturbing even seeing the titles of these horrible incidents

Are you comparing a 3 week old puppy to mice? Are you serious? I guess you also missed the part where he dumped cooking oil on it.

It's a matter of the food chain.

Snakes need to eat something and their natural prey is mice/rats/a few other things. If we take the snake we have to feed it what it would be eating in it's natural place in the wild.

    Puppies are not that.

Is it possible to feed a snake dead rodents? I believe that you can buy them at a pet supply store. Even if the rodents are bred for future death and killed before they would die naturally, it's definitely has to be preferable to this.

Puppies don't run around in nature trying to avoid snakes. Snakes need to be fed what they would eat in the wild.

    Horrible comparison
