    SI's Pre-training camp power rankings

    19. Miami: "We picked Ted [Ginn Jr.] because we're so close on defense, and he could make the difference in a few games with his playmaking ability,'' Cam Cameron told me this spring. If Brady Quinn turns out to be very good, the Ginn pick is a dud, almost no matter how good he is. If Quinn turns out to be Tim Couch, Ginn could look like Gale Sayers.

So, if they both go to pro Bowls year in and year out Ginn will be considered a dud...How about if we end up going to to bowl and the score is 10-3 with Ginn catching a TD pass...In PK's eyes he is a dud as well huh...King just keeps getting more and more convoluted...His football knowledge and awareness is absolutely deteriotating
I believe any man's finest hour - his greatest fulfillment to all he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle...Victorious

Preseason power rankings are almost meaningless.

i don't see how if Quinn is good that means the Ginn pick was a bad one. If he had said "if quinn is a great QB and both Ginn and Beck flop", then that's different. We wanted Beck, obviously, so how can you fault us for not taking Quinn if they both are good QBs? let's wait for some on the field play before we judge

It's the aura of the QB, the most prestigious position in most sports. If Quinn excels, it'd be like passing up on Carson Palmer for Andre Johnson. Both are top-notch players but who's the more pivotal for their team?

And so do people who don't vote for me in FH March Madness http://www.dolphinsnation.com/forums...d.php?t=215893
Players I'm looking at for 08 draft: Adarius Bowman, DR Cromartie, Martin Rucker, Bruce Davis, Shannon Tevaga, Tracy Porter, Brian Brohm, Matt Ryan, Chris Long, John Carlson, Chauncey Washington (ex-HS teammate)
Interesting fact: Bill Parcells was the 1st NFL coach to have Gatorade dumped on him after a W in 1985.

Well, in Houston it was Andre Johnson. He made whatever career David Carr had...
