courts found them both at fault, so not sure what the problem is. while he was speeding, the boy went out in front of him.

"It's the final straw, a stab in the back," Iriondo's mother Rosa Trinidad said, according to El Pais. "Before the lawsuit we thought the poor guy would find it hard to live the rest of his life with the thought of having caused our son's death.

From earlier in the story: "a regional court found both parties at fault and closed the case."

So technically he wasn't at fault for having caused their son's death as both parties were found equally responsible.

I am pretty sure, legally speaking, since both parties were equally responsible, his claim has some merit.

His claim has legal merit but zero moral merit.

And so do people who don't vote for me in FH March Madness http://www.dolphinsnation.com/forums...d.php?t=215893
Players I'm looking at for 08 draft: Adarius Bowman, DR Cromartie, Martin Rucker, Bruce Davis, Shannon Tevaga, Tracy Porter, Brian Brohm, Matt Ryan, Chris Long, John Carlson, Chauncey Washington (ex-HS teammate)
Interesting fact: Bill Parcells was the 1st NFL coach to have Gatorade dumped on him after a W in 1985.

Exactly... "My Audi was scratched and the kid died. I'm definitely the one with the bigger problem..."

Jack*** should be happy he didn't die, too...

It's part of a mentality that you find sometimes. The law is really meaningless, unless it's enforced. After being accustomed to non-enforcement people come to feel entitled. Ever see the dirty looks you get from a lot of motorists when you exercise your right to cross the street? "How do you walk in the street that I've reserved for driving!" That's why I had adopted the personal custom of carrying my umbrella when I go outside and pointing in front of me when I would cross the street.

Speeding is an outstanding example. Obviously, this slime doesn't feel remorse, but he probably also feels entitled to speed excessively.

I'm just saying, if they were both at fault he shouldn't get to claim any of his money back...it was his fault, too.
